There’s the Epic lawsuit, as well as many other governments that want to break Apple’s App Store. Mostly during the last year, Apple has been accused of monopoly over the iPhone App Store. While Nadella seems optimistic about a future where all developers and apps are welcome to the Windows software, no matter what, Apple has taken a different path. During the interview, Nadella said “all apps” are invited to join in. In this new store, Microsoft partnered with Amazon’s own Android App Store, so starting with Windows 11, it’ll natively run Android apps downloaded through it. In an exclusive interview with WSJ’s Joanna Stern, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella spoke about the new operating system, called out app stores, and invited iMessage to the Microsoft Store. Microsoft announced today its all-new Windows 11 software for PCs.
